February 18th Presidents Day 2019
The Most impressive man in my country club is not club champion or former CEO’s on our volunteer BOD. It is the locker room attendant. The man who sees to the duties of shoes, toiletries and towels.
His regal history is greater than many members. A junior golf champion in high school and NAIA golf team in collage. He suffered a series of despairs including his father’s death but carried his heavy bag of clubs through every round of golf and had emotional losses recovered through a heavenly father.
His blogs, writings, and book have inspired many golfers since and have become a standard read for many country club employees across America. Yes, we find greatness in the least obvious places—cloaked in humility.
