Fighting for Financial Freedom

On my hike today I heard a woman tell her friend that she was, “going to tie the dog in the yard because that dog sucks.”

Wrong, I thought, “you suck.” The dog behaves only as well as it was trained and teaching a dog is the responsibility of the owner. Animals are completely neutral and learn their behaviors. Now, the dog will suffer because that woman was not accountable for how she trained her pet.

The ability to take responsibility is a major success tool. Taking charge of your own life and releasing attachments to adverse conditions of others is the only way to change a situation. Accountability is truly how change happens!

In order to get there, first understanding that situations like animals have no faults of their own, and they do not care one way or another about you. They are neutral, much like the mind of a dog. It’s how we treat them that make them bad or good. That’s why we can put whatever spin we want onto any situation.

A primary step in fighting for financial freedom is to forge bad breaks into opportunities. Make the right decisions regardless of the hard work involved. Accepting ownership of all consequences for your own actions is the path to providing more for you, your family and community.

Being accountable is the only way for change to take place. In much the same way that children learn new behaviors because they are cognitively predisposed to learning, you must unbridle abilities to blaze paths that only you can see—paths that have always existed within you. When choosing to be responsible and follow your natural internal path, beliefs of others’ won’t hinder the journey and it will become simple and joyous.

Don’t blame the dog or anyone else for that matter. Accept ownership of all consequences for your actions and for current circumstances on your path to success. Taking charge of your own life with full responsibility is a major success tool.
